The artwork presents the Clock Tower from a frontal perspective, a landmark that has become an almost inseparable part of Jaffa’s urban landscape and identity. The clock tower and the palm trees surrounding it remain in black and white, as if frozen in time, in contrast to the colorful surroundings that portray the diversity and vibrancy of the people who inhabit the city. Through the contrast between the monochromatic elements and the vivid colors, the artwork seeks to capture the unique energy, rhythm, and intensity of the city. The use of color becomes a way to express the complexity, movement, and sense of constant transformation that define Jaffa.
