Eran Rubinfeld
About
Born in Rishon LeZion, Israel, in 1965, Eran Rubinfeld has been painting since early childhood. After completing his military service in the Israel Defense Forces, he began working as a graphic designer for the newspaper Hadashot, where he was exposed to new cultural and musical influences. During this period, he studied at the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) while devoting his spare time to painting, primarily creating mixed-media collages. Today, he runs his own graphic design and painting studio. Between 2000 and 2012, Rubinfeld focused on Pop Art, creating imaginary music album covers and posters in digital formats. From 2013 to 2018, he created the Jordan Valley series, a collection of modernist landscape paintings based on Instagram photographs. In recent years, he has continued to paint landscapes inspired by locations ranging from the park near his home to urban scenery and impressions from his travels throughout Israel.
