Tree in an open field
A broad, solitary tree fills the composition, its dense green canopy rising above a dry open field beneath a pale blue sky. Layered oil strokes give the foliage a richly textured surface, while softer handling across the ground and sky preserves a sense of distance. The earthy palette and balanced silhouette create a calm, contemplative presence.
