The Geese Decide

A closely gathered flock of geese fills the composition, arranged around a dark, gold-edged panel and a wooden box bearing a pointed question about art. Layered oil brushwork defines the pale feathers, orange beaks, and individual expressions against the near-black ground. The theatrical grouping gives the work a humorous, quietly provocative character suited to a living room, dining area, or office.
