Nest of Stillness
The painting creates a meeting between realistic painting and natural materiality. The nest in the center, built from a combination of paint, cardboard, twigs and dry leaves, stands out from the blue background and evokes a sense of protection, fragility and hope. The three eggs symbolize a new beginning, life and potential, while the branches spreading out from the nest create a sense of growth and continuity.
