Orlovsky Yarden

$284

A finely rendered woman holding a parasol stands beneath an ornate semicircle of floral lace motifs. Layered paper elements, delicate linear detail, and tonal mixed-media surfaces create a shallow theatrical space in black, white, and gray. The vintage imagery and formal symmetry lend the collage a nostalgic, quietly mysterious character suited to an office, bedroom, or intimate gallery wall.

Orlovsky Yarden

Orlovsky Yarden

Yarden Orlovsky is an actress, voice artist, and cultural institution manager. She began creating collages during sleepless nights in wartime, between air-raid sirens, out of a need to find quiet and focus amid a period of uncertainty. All of her works are created from old, dismantled books found abandoned on the street, driven by a desire to work specifically with what already existed and was on the verge of disappearing. Through cutting and reassembling, she gives these materials a new life, creating works centered around figures that move between reality and imagination, connecting the forgotten with the new.
