Crescendo
Crescendo belongs to the Musical Abstraction series. Inspired by the musical term for a gradual increase in intensity, Crescendo unfolds through an accumulation of gestures, splashes, and rhythmic lines that build toward a moment of emotional release. Created through an intuitive process of action painting, each mark responds to the one before it, allowing movement rather than planning to shape the composition. Bright, energetic colors collide with darker passages, balancing spontaneity with restraint. Beneath the layers, areas of raw canvas remain visible, creating moments of pause within the visual intensity. Like music itself, the painting moves between tension and harmony, inviting the viewer to experience rhythm as something felt rather than heard.
